Description of the Organisation
Kingʼs College is an independent private school in Auckland, New Zealand. Within the college there at 11 house systems, each with itʼs own unique punishment systems. One of the houses, Peart House, is run by Mr C Macpherson. If a student has misbehaved they get a Fatigue which is a punishment usually involving manual labour.
Methods Currently In Use
The Fatigues are currently being entered and stored by manually through a Fatigues book. Each time a student misbehaves a House Prefect or House Staff Member write the name and year of the student to be punished as well as the reason and the person issuing the Fatigue. At the end of the week the Fatigues get entered into a Microsoft Word document manually and get printed off to be displayed on a board.
Origin and Form of the Data Used
The Data (Name, year, Reason for fatigue and person issuing the fatigue) gets entered by the Prefect or Staff member issuing the Fatigue. The information written into a book of Fatigues.
